Firearms and ammunition transport must have the airline's prior authorization. For information about bookings and rates, check the airline official website. Bladed weapons, firearms, air rifle weapons and ammunition may only be transported as hold baggage.
Firearms must be unloaded, dismantled and packed in locked containers; ammunition must be packed in shock and fire-resistant containers.
Firearms and ammunitions must be tagged at the check-in counter and then must be surrendered to the airport police who will check the related documentation and will be responsible of boarding them onto the aircraft. Upon arrival, firearms and ammunition must be claimed at the airport police office.
